The Farm

The community farms an 85-acre property and our stock includes calves, lambs and pigs.

Other important members of the community are our 20 plus pets. These include our very intelligent and affable donkey Onslow who is also an excellent spiritual director. He has perfected the art of listening and never answering back.

Onslow, donkey and spiritual director

Jo-Jo, Grace and Annie our pet sheep, llamas - Benjamin, Isaac and Jerome. Moses, Miriam and Alleluia our beautiful and loving pigs. There is a horse called Hercules. A gentle giant for those interested in riding and a pony called Jack for the younger people. Several goats are also resident.

Many people, especially farmers have asked us what the purpose is of having all these various pets. For us the answer is simple: together they create community, they are a joy to visitors and a very loving presence on the farm.

Onslow the donkey, greets everyone

There is always plenty of work to be done on the farm, and guests are always welcome, even encourgaged to help out!
