Cardinal Tom Williams to bless Galilee Farm on 27 June 2009

On Saturday 27 June, an extremely significant event will occur at the Magnificat Community.  Galilee Farm, the 500 acre addition to the community (seen below), will be blessed by Cardinal Tom Williams.

The Community was blessed to acquire the farm 3 days before Christmas 2007 after discerning through much prayer that this was God's will.  And as always He provided the means.

The Community felt it was time to consecrate the farm fully to Our Heavenly Father and His purposes.  We are just delighted that Cardinal Williams, who initially consecrated the Magnificat Community and played such a key role in it's formation, was able and willing to perform the consecration.

In preparation for the consecration and as part of the Community's desire to grow in grace and service of our Lord, a Community retreat was held two weeks ago.
